Paradise Design Garden Sculpture

Our contemporary New Zealand nature sculpture business began in 2000. We concentrate on creating sculptures that will enhance NZ garden landscapes, be they coastal, bush, urban or rural.

Our design range includes totems, panels, combinations of taller pieces on stands and other complex designs that are interesting from all angles. Most pieces can be handled using just one or two people. We have a range of original designs with literal and abstract themes; including landscapes, ocean, river, birds, trees, ferns, mountains as well as some human images.

All sculptures are personally handmade and finished by us. The lightweight concrete composite material is crafted to a stone-like quality, and often includes mixed media inlays such as copper, stainless steel, stones, NZ paua shell and various colours of glass. Carving and different finishes give textural effects, contrast and visual interest.

Yvonne and Wayne work from home in the hills inland from Doubtless Bay/ Tokarau Moana in the Far North/ Te Tai Tokerau. Our 155-hectare Permaculture land project began in 1990, with edible landscapes, native forest conservation, sustainable forestry, and eco buildings hosting visitors and our workshop runs on solar power.

We gain inspiration from the surrounding natural landscape of streams, native bush and local coastal environment.
Sculpture designs are often personalised together with clients sharing their ideas and particular garden and outdoor living environments. We can quote on personally delivering to you and freighting throughout NZ.

www.gardensculpture.nz is open by appointment at our workshop in Peria, inland from Taipa in the Far North for those adventurous enough to visit us.
