Lions Fun Run and Walk

Sunday 31 October 2021

Mangonui Lions Annual Fun Run and Walk
10am Start at Mangonui School, Colonel Mould Drive, Mangonui - Finish at Coopers Beach Reserve, SH10, Coopers Beach
Distances: 8km or 6km, with 2km Beach Run for the littlies.
This community event is designed to promote fitness in our district. The course is mainly road and footpath for 5km, then hard-packed beach for 1km, followed (for the 8km course) by 2km on a grass track in a reserve. The 6km course will suit pushchairs, but it is not suitable for accompanying animals. The children will have a 2km Beach Run along Coopers Beach ($2).
There will be refreshments and Prizegiving at the conclusion at Coopers Beach Reserve.
This year we have yet to decide on the recipient of funds raised – so let us know if your community group may be interested.
For details see Facebook page or email Alan Dow at mangonuifunrun@lionsclubs.org.nz.
